Don’t you just love Fall in the South? After a hot, humid summer there is nothing like the day you walk outside and feel the crispness in the air and the smell of a fire burning. Ahhhh!
North Carolina has the mountains and the beaches; but, the mountains is where you want to go during the month of October. Take a picnic and take a drive to Blowing Rock, Grandfather Mountain or up to Linville Falls. Cashiers and the Highlandsare also upscale areas in Western NC. And don’t forget Asheville, NC which has the famous Biltmore Estate and a wonderful downtown area full of shopping, dining and eclectic citizens.
Or just drive through some of the lovely neighborhoods in South Charlotte and Ballantyne! So, as we say in the South…
